SEO, Google Ads & Websites for Melbourne Allied Health & Dental
For dental practices, physiotherapy and allied health clinics, psychology practices, NDIS providers and medical centres that want bookings from the suburbs they serve, under the advertising rules that apply to them. Search, Google Ads and the website are run as one job, from $1,000/month.
- From $1,000/month, month to month
- One client per service per catchment
- Since 2006
Who this page is for
- Single-site clinics where the practice manager owns marketing alongside everything else.
- Multi-site groups that need each location to rank in its own suburb without the sites competing with each other.
- Practices opening a second room or a new service line who need bookings before the lease starts hurting.
- Clinics that have been burnt by a directory or booking platform taking the patient relationship.
If that is you, the rest of this page is the plan. If you are a different kind of business, the services hub or the industry guides will get you to the right place faster.
The three problems this sector brings us
Almost every first call from this sector is one of these three. The plan below is built around them.
Booking platforms and directories own your patient
HealthEngine, HotDoc listings and the big directories rank for "dentist Hawthorn" and take the booking, and sometimes the patient. We build the location, service and practitioner pages that rank in their own right and send bookings to your own system.
Advertising rules that most agencies ignore
AHPRA and the National Law restrict testimonials and certain claims for registered practitioners, and Google Ads has its own healthcare policies. Copy that breaks them costs you more than a ranking. We write to the rules, with a person checking every page before it goes live.
A site that was built for the practice, not the patient
Clinic sites tend to list services the way the clinic thinks about them, not the way a patient searches. Nobody searches "musculoskeletal physiotherapy"; they search "physio near me for a sore back". We map pages to the questions patients ask and the suburbs they ask from.
What the first 90 days looks like
Three stages, each with something you can see. Dates are agreed in writing, and if we miss an agreed deliverable in a month, that month is free.
- Days 1 to 14: audit, tracking, catchmentWe audit the site, Google Business Profile for each location and any Ads account, install booking and call tracking, check the copy against the advertising rules that apply to you, and agree the suburbs that become your catchment in the agreement. You get the five-minute video audit within two business days.
- Days 15 to 45: pages and profilesService and location pages go live, practitioner pages are built where the rules allow, each Google Business Profile is rebuilt with the right categories and services, and citations are cleaned up. Ads, if you run them, are restructured around the same services and suburbs under the healthcare policies.
- Days 46 to 90: authority, reviews, reportingLinks from the local and professional sources that matter in health, a compliant review process, the remaining location pages, and the first monthly report with a video walkthrough showing bookings and calls by source.
One client per service per catchment
We won't take on another client offering the same service in the same catchment as you while you're with us. Your catchment is the list of suburbs in your agreement.
This is the clause as it appears in our client agreement. It is why we check your service and suburbs before we say yes.

Allied health and dental questions
Question not here? Ask us directly.
How much does SEO cost for a clinic in Melbourne?
Packages start from $1,000/month, month to month, with 30 days notice and no auto-renewal. The pricing page shows what each tier includes and the scope table there matches the client agreement. Google Ads management and a new website are quoted separately after the audit.
Do you work with other dentists or physios?
Not in the same catchment. We take one client per service per catchment, where the catchment is the list of suburbs in your agreement. A dentist in Hawthorn and a dentist in Werribee can both be clients; two dentists competing for the same suburbs cannot.
Do you handle AHPRA and Google Ads healthcare rules?
Yes. Copy for registered practitioners is written to the National Law advertising requirements, including the restriction on testimonials, and Ads are run under Google's healthcare policies. A person checks every page before it goes live.
Can patients still book through HotDoc or HealthEngine?
Yes. We send bookings to whatever system you use. The aim is that the patient finds your site and your profile first, so the booking and the relationship start with you rather than a directory.
